REPUBLIC BANK (BVI) LIMITED GO-LIVE WEEKEND SERVICES EFFECTIVE APRIL 4TH

Republic Bank (BVI) Limited (RBVG) is advising its customers that its conversion from the Banking Systems of Bank of Nova Scotia (BNS) to Republic Financial Holdings Limited’s (RFHL) suite of technology platforms is set to take place on April 4, 2022. To facilitate this conversion, the Bank’s operations will experience some temporary changes, including the migration of credit card issuing services, which will include a brief interruption in service from today (March 28) to 29. The Bank’s operations will be closed on April 1, 2022, and will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on April 4.

The Bank would also like its customers to note that from April 1-3, debit card and ATM services will not be available. Customers are advised, therefore, to withdraw any cash they may need prior to April 1, for the downtime period. During this time, customers can also utilise their credit cards and cheques. All services will be restored on April 4.

Managing Director Marion Blyden said, “We are doing our best to make the transition as smooth and seamless as possible – something that can only be truly achieved with our customers’ cooperation. We appreciate the support they have given us thus far and we look forward to that support as we navigate the new system when we go live on April 4.”
