BVI PROFESSIONALS MEET AT THE 9TH ANNUAL PRIVATE WEALTH LATIN AMERICA AND CARIBBEAN FORUM

The British Virgin Islands’ practitioners were present during key discussions held on asset allocation and the macro-economic outlook for the year ahead, in an increasingly stoical and challenging economic forecast for the world – at the 9th Annual Private Wealth Latin America and the Caribbean Forum.

BVI Finance Global Head of Business Development and Marketing, Simon Gray attended the event held in Miami from November 1 to 3.

Keynote Speakers for this year’s event included Vicente Fox, Former President of Mexico, Luis Fortuno, Former Governor of Puerto Rico, Sandro Salsano, President of Salsano Group, Ricky Watters, NFL All-Pro Super Bowl Champ, Health and Wellness Ambassador, Shawne Merriman, Founder of LightsOutXF and Keynote Moderator Zack Ellison, Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of A.R.I. Venture Debt Opportunities Fund.

An additional topic this year was how ultra-high-net worth sports persons and celebrities can come unstuck with finances unless they use professional advisors to help them navigate their investments.

The Private Wealth Latin America and the Caribbean Forum is a leading conference for RIAs, family offices and private banks throughout the region. It is focused on hundreds of one-on-one meetings from within high-net-worth family wealth management community. The forum is designed to enable genuine peer-to-peer learning and networking for the regional private wealth community.
