CAREY OLSEN GIVES BACK TO COMMUNITY

This past week the office of Carey Olsen in the British Virgin Islands proudly gave back to the BVI Community.

The agency said, “At the end of 2023, instead of making traditional gifts to our business clients, Carey Olsen (BVI) L.P. opted to make donations to five remarkable local charities chosen by our staff from a wide-ranging list of diverse charitable causes.”

Additionally, the agency shared the process stating, “our clients and staff were then asked to vote for the charity they wanted to receive a donation. The votes were then counted and determined the total amount of the donation each charity was to receive. The five chosen charities that received donations through those votes were: Adina Donovan Home For The Elderly, BVI Diabetes Association, BVI Humane Society, Eslyn Henley Richiez Learning Centre and M.A.L.E.”

The Partners and staff at Carey Olsen (BVI) L.P. said they hope that this gesture will help to continue the valuable work in the BVI Community that these organizations continue to do. Adding that “these donations sit alongside the firm’s annual and ongoing commitments and support to other important BVI charities and institutions such as the Jost van Dyke Primary School, VISAR, CIBC Walk for the Cure and PAW.”

Carey Olsen one of the highest-ranking offshore law firm in Chambers UK 2024, having achieved 10 out of a possible 12 Band 1 rankings. The firm is also said to have 20 tier 1 rankings in Legal 500 UK, more than any other offshore firm.

The agency said they are “dedicated to building long-term relationships with our employees, our clients, and the wider communities in which we live as well as having a positive impact on the world around us.”
