Miss BVI 2024 Adacia Adonis is inviting students across the British Virgin Islands to showcase their artistic talents through a festive Christmas card decoration competition.
The contest, open to all students, challenges participants to create original artwork under one of five creative themes: BVI Christmas Traditions, Under the Sea Christmas, Santa’s Island Vacation, Eco-Friendly Christmas, or Winter Wonderland in the Tropics.
Entries must be submitted electronically to aadonis.missbvi@gmail.com by December 9th, 2024. Participants are required to include their name, age, school, and contact information on the back of their digital submission.
Generous local sponsors have contributed an impressive array of prizes for both primary and secondary school students. Primary school winners will receive gift certificates from Island Services, iSMART, and CCT, along with an instructional session by She Nailed It by Shereen.
Secondary school students have opportunities to win photoshoots from Kaptured Photography and JM Photography, a full set of acrylic nails from She Nailed It by Shereen, and an ATV island tour from Salt Life Adventure Sports.
Judges will evaluate entries based on creativity, originality, theme adherence, and artistic impression. All submissions will be displayed at the Creative Waves Art Gallery and featured in a 284 Media article, with winners announced on January 10th, 2025.
