People in the territory are being encouraged to grow their own food especially in light of the critical need for food security.
However, a local farmer says he is getting rejection from the Agriculture Department to further that thrust.
Craig Glasgow asked the question on facebook. Does anyone know how to get help from the Agriculture Department? According to him he tried many times but he keeps getting rejected.
During an interview on ZBVI Radio, Glasgow said he is growing frustrated with the situation.

According to Glasgow he sells local juices and he has about 20 different types of fruit trees planted in his yard which is a house plot.
He also stated that he has a fish farm.

Director of the Agriculture Department Theodore James has not provided an official response on the matter.
