Two men were hospitalized with gunshot wounds following a shooting in the Carrot Bay area on Thursday, August 6.
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force initially reported that officers were responding to reports of shots fired in the area, noting at the time that the circumstances surrounding the incident were unclear.
Police subsequently confirmed that two males sustained gunshot wounds and were transported to the Dr. D. Orlando Smith Hospital for medical treatment. Their conditions were not immediately known.
