UPDATED: MALE AND FEMALE IN SEPARATE DEATHS IDENTIFIED

On April 5th at 10:40 am, the RVIPF received a report of an unresponsive male in Cane Garden Bay. The deceased was identified as Mr. Stanley Hodge, a 73-year-old BVIslander. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

On April 6th, the RVIPF received a report of an unresponsive female in Fat Hog’s Bay. The deceased was identified as Ms. Maria Thomas, a 64-year-old BVIslander. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Information reaching our newsroom from a member of the Royal Virgin Islands police force, in an invited comment has confirmed the death of an unidentified Hispanic female who was today April 6th found dead at her residence in Fat Hogs Bay, Tortola BVI.

While no foul play is suspected, the circumstances surrounding the discovery are not yet known and investigations are ongoing. Officers are presently on the scene.
