TROPICAL WAVE EXPECTED TO CREATE UNSETTLING WEATHER INTO TOMORROW

The Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Services has indicated that there is a high probability later tonight and continuing into Wednesday morning, a fairly active tropical wave entering the region with deep moisture will heighten the chances of showers and thunderstorms.

Possible rainfall total for the forecast period is 6 to 13 mm or 0.25 to 0.5 inch.

Weather tonight: Cloudy with showers and a 40 percent or moderate chance of thunderstorms.

Winds: Easterly today then shifting to the east-southeast tonight with speeds at 24 to 37 km/h or 13 to 20 knots with gusts in showers peaking near 52 km/h or 28 knots.

Seas: 1.5 to 2.4 metres or 5 to 8 feet. A small craft advisory remains in effect mainly for the waters east and north of the islands.
