CUSTOMERS URGED TO SETTLE WATER BILLS

Customers of the Water and Sewerage Department are being asked to settle all outstanding bills immediately for 2019 and previous years.

Minister for Transportation, Works and Utilities Honourable Kye Rymer recently announced that the Government of the Virgin Islands is offering a grace period of three months on the disconnections of water service.

“The grace period started on January 18, and will continue to April 30. During this period, we are encouraging customers of the Water and Sewerage Department, including those with bill discrepancies, to make arrangements to bring their accounts current,” Honourable Rymer said.

Customers are asked to note that at the end of the grace period, those with outstanding balances will be disconnected; bills are due at the end of each month.
