POLICE SEEKING EYEWITNESSES IN SEACOW’S BAY ROBBERY

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force is now seeking the public’s help in identifying the perpetrators of a double robbery in Seacow’s Bay.

The official press release from the RVIPF stated “initial investigations indicate that around 8:45pm, two males dressed in black long sleeved hoodies entered De la Santa’s Bakery and Restaurant. One of the men jumped over the counter and took a quantity of cash from the register. No customers were present at the time.”

This was not the end of the ordeal as the robbers would soon burglarize another business in the area.

Law enforcement said “the men then made their way to Charles Chill Bar located at the rear of the bakery and pointed a firearm at two patrons. The assailants both fled the scene with cash and jewelry taken from the two patrons, a cash pan from the bar and the cashier’s handbag. No one was injured in the incident.”

It was reported that contents from the cashier’s handbag along with a black firearm magazine containing ammunition was found was recovered by the Police.

“Detectives are interested in any information that could help to fast track this investigation and identify the individuals responsible. The assailants were likely outside for some time or in the general vicinity prior to entering the premises,” the press release later stated.
