To date we have 821 active confirmed cases of COVID-19 with more expected as contact tracing continues.  “We are encouraging the community to help us to arrest the spread of COVID-19 by adhering to guidelines and protocols,” Dr. Georges pleaded.

The Ministry of Health and Social Development has launched a National Public Health Symptom Reporting Form (SRF) to better reach and manage persons in the community who are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.

According to Chief Medical Officer Dr. Ronald Georges, the reporting process starts with the completion of the initial intake form. Once submitted the Public Health Officers will review and liaise with the appropriate medical centre to arrange for treatment and/or testing.

The applicant will then be sent a follow-up monitoring form at the same time daily to update until they have recovered.  All submitted forms will be reviewed by a health team.
