In an official statement the British Virgin Islands Ports Authority (BVIPA) has notified the public that effective immediately the Authority will no longer be publishing international ferry schedules.
It has been customary for the Authority to issue international ferry schedules to the general public.
The statement added, “The BVIPA will only be making announcements on any additional international ferry passenger routes or new carriers.”
The agency said it is responsible for the approval of ferry schedules and the issuing of ferry licenses.
However, all international ferry passenger schedules and related information can be found on the ferry operators’ websites or social media pages.
