THE KING OF THE COURTS CARIBBEAN CHAMPIONSHIP SET FOR TOMORROW!

All roads lead to the Jeffery Caines Arena on the sister island of Virgin Gorda this Saturday for the King of the Courts Caribbean Championships which is scheduled for 8pm.

The basketball competition will have representatives from 12 Caribbean islands including St. Kitts, Nevis, Montserrat, Anguilla, Guyana, St. Maarten, St. Eustatius, Philippines, Dominican Republic, USVI, Tortola and Virgin Gorda.

284News recently sat down with event organiser Steve Parillion who briefly explained the origin of the competition which was birthed out of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Parillion also spoke on the Celebrity Shootout competition as well as the other competitions scheduled for fans and females.

The current defending champion of the Celebrity Shootout competition is Premier and Minister of Finance Honourable Andrew Fahie.

The ferry which is organized for the game is scheduled to depart the Road Town Ferry Dock at 7pm and return at 12am.
