BVIAA STAFF TO BE FULLY REIMBURSED WITH MONIES LOST DURING 25% CUT BY END OF MAY

Employees of the BVI Airports Authority (BVIAA) at their next scheduled pay period will be reimbursed with the monies lost from the 25 percent salary cut which occurred during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Premier and Minister of Finance Honourable Andrew Fahie made the announcement during a recent press conference, adding that all the outstanding monies will be paid to all employees by the end of next month.

The premier also explained why the stance of a salary reduction had to be taken and he thanked all the employees for their sacrifices endured during that period.

Premier Fahie also revealed that the BVIAA staff will soon receive their long outstanding increments during the month of May.
