VANTERPOOL WILLING TO CONFESS TO ANY OFFENCES THAT MAY HAVE OCCURRED IN OFFICE

Fourth District Representative Mark Vanterpool has expressed that he is willing to confess to any wrongdoings that might have occurred when he was in office under the National Democratic Party (NDP) Administration.

Vanterpool’s comments came during last Thursday’s House of Assembly Sitting during the debate session for the no confidence motion, which was successfully passed to remove Andrew Fahie as Premier of the Virgin Islands.

Vanterpool who is now a backbencher in the recently formed National Unity Government also said that now is time for this current government to build on the progress made by the territory’s ancestors.

He said the Commission of Inquiry (COI) recommendations should not be taken lightly.

Adding to his previous points, Vanterpool further said the solutions should be acted upon urgently, warning that the procrastinating must stop.
