On Wednesday May 11th, residents of the Virgin Islands will again take to the streets in demonstration against the possibility of Direct UK Rule.
The first demonstration took place a week ago in front of Government House upon the arrival of Hon. Rt. Amanda Milling.
While the territory awaits the decision by the UK, organizers of the demonstration say it is important that we “not forget what is at stake”.
Bishop John I Cline, in an exclusive with 284 Media said that organizers were pleased with the turnout at the first demonstration giving the short time frame in which it was organized.
The demonstration will begin at 4pm.
