MCMASTER FINISHES 4TH AT DOHA DIAMOND LEAGUE – ADAEJAH BREAKS 23-YEAR-OLD LONG JUMP RECORD

Top local hurdler Kyron McMaster just missed out on a podium finish after placing fourth in the 400 meter hurdles at the 2022 Doha Diamond League today.

Running out of lane number three McMaster finished fourth with a season’s best time of 49.93 seconds, trailing Thomas Barr of Ireland who placed third in a time of 49.67 seconds.

That race was won by world number two rank Brazilian Alison dos Santos who ran a world lead and meet record time of 47.24 seconds.

Benjamin Ray of the United States finished second.

Meanwhile at the high school level, track and field sensation Adaejah Hodge broke a 23-year-old long jump record, after leaping 6.20 meters at the Georgia High School Association, Class 6A Girls Championships for her high school Alexander.
