POLICE RENEW APPEAL TO THE PUBLIC IN HOPES OF ARRESTING WANTED MAN ERICK RABSATT

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force has renewed its appeal to the public for information on the whereabouts of Pasea Estate resident Erick Rabsatt who is wanted in connection with the murder of the late Jaimez Stoutt.

The appeal comes on the six-month anniversary of Stoutt’s tragic murder after he was shot dead while inside Crystal’s Nightclub in Free Bottom on December 11, 2021.

Rabsatt is said to be slim built, approximately 5’10” tall, weighing between 160 and 170 pounds.

“Persons who have seen Rabsatt or have information about his whereabouts can contact the Major Incident Team at 368-5682 or the RVIPF Intelligence Unit at 368-9339. All information will be dealt with the strictest of confidence,” the RVIPF stated.

They added, “Officers are also asking family members and associates here and abroad to encourage Rabsatt to turn himself in. Since he is wanted in connection with murder, his security and those of others around him are at high risk. Persons found hiding or harbouring this suspect can also be charged and upon conviction face hefty penalties.”

The Major Crime Team of the RVIPF said an arrest warrant has been circulated throughout the British Virgin Islands and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
