The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force has identified Tuesday’s murder victim as a 35-year-old Lambert Estate resident.
He is Corey Butler, who according to police, was pronounced dead shortly after arrival at the Dr. D. Orlando Smith Hospital with an apparent gunshot wound to the body.
Police say they are continuing their inquiries into the matter and are asking persons with information or eyewitnesses to contact the Major Crime Team at 368-5682 or the RVIP Intelligence Unit at 368-9339.
They have given assurance that all information will be held in the strictest confidence.
