Reports reaching our newsroom have confirmed a shooting incident in Zion Hill West End, Tortola which took place early this evening Thursday January 26th, 2023.
Multiple residents have reported hearing gunshots and one male has been reportedly injured after receiving multiple gunshot wounds. He is said to be receiving medical attention at the Dr. D. Orlando Smith Hospital.
In an invited comment the RVIPF said, “The RVIPF can confirm a shooting incident this afternoon in the western end of Tortola. One person is being treated for injuries at hospital. No further information is available at this time.”
