The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force has confirmed the shooting death of one male following a Sunday morning incident in Road Town.
A female also reported to the Dr. D. O. Smith Hospital this morning with a gunshot wound to the leg.
Police say the two incidents have not been linked so far.
ORIGINAL REPORT:
One man is reportedly dead following a shooting incident in Road Town , near the Elmore Stoutt High School.
Reports reaching our news room are that shots rang out in that area in the wee hours of Sunday Morning.
Presently, there is said to be a road closure in that area , between Klippers Barbershop and Sunday Morning Well, to facilitate preliminary investigations by the Police.
