In a harrowing turn of events, a female minor has tragically lost her life after encountering distress while at sea in Savannah Bay, Virgin Gorda.
Though awaiting official confirmation from the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force, reliable sources have disclosed to 284 Media that the minor was rescued from the ocean but succumbed despite efforts to save her.
Reports indicate that the minor encountered difficulties during her time at sea and a prompt response by a male led to her retrieval and subsequent transportation to shore. Several attempts were made to resuscitate the young individual who was later rushed to the Iris O’Neal Clinic on Virgin Gorda by an ambulance.
Disturbingly, additional reports indicate that others were also brought to the clinic for urgent medical attention.
