UPDATED ARTICLE:
Morning traffic on Tortola was disrupted earlier today as authorities responded to an oil spill on the road between Brandywine Bay and Fish Bay. The affected section of the road was temporarily closed while cleanup operations were underway.
The closure, which lasted until around 11 a.m., prompted delays for motorists in the area.
Honorable Kye Rymer, Minister for Communications and Works, visited the site while the cleanup operation was in progress.

No injuries or accidents were reported as a result of the incident.
Traffic resumed smoothly following the road’s reopening.
