The territory of the Virgin Islands through the Ministry of Education is this week observing early childhood education week.
Early Childhood Awareness Week 2025 is being observed under the theme: Step It Up: Early Learning | Lifelong Impact.
The week was declared officially open and will feature daily spotlight videos on early childhood development centres around the Territory.
In an official message to the public Minister for Education and Culture Hon. Sharie B Decastro underscored the importance of pouring into children at this very pivotal age.
She spoke about the official theme and how the ministry is seeking to uphold.
Additionally, Minster decastro called on all stakeholders to join forces in building stronger ties within early childhood sector.
