The Members of His Majesty’s Loyal Opposition have filed yet another Motion of No Confidence against the Wheatley led administration. The item was notably present on the upcoming order paper obtained by our agency and is expected to be brought at the next House of Assembly sitting scheduled for Tuesday, June 3, 2025.
The motion has been brought by Leader of the Opposition and Sixth District Representative Hon. Myron V Walwyn. This is not the first time the opposition has filed a motion of no confidence against the Wheatley lead Government and once again they have listed a number of areas of concern.
These include: State of the Economy, public services, lack of transparency, financial mismanagement, lack of attention to areas such as healthcare, education and agriculture.
The opposition has once again accused the premier of not having a clear plan for tourism, while highlighting the lack of development at Prospect Reef. Additionally, lack of fiscal management of the territories funds.
Over the past few months’ all Opposition members have all publically addressed various aspects of Government of concern to them on various radio programmes.
The motion comes at a time when public scrutiny and discontent with the running of the territory by the Wheatley lead administration as well as rising public outcry and some even organizing public protest.
