During a recent episode of Talking Points Radio programme, local host Elvin Grant, Damian Grange and Violet Gaul all weighed in on the topic of Virgin Islands not wanting to work or take up certain roles. Mr. Grant was at the time speaking and congratulating the recent graduates across the territory and stated that we must give our young people a fighting chance.
Host Violet Gaul said she was tired of the notion that Virgin Islands don’t want to work.
Mr. Damian Grange also weighed in on the conversation stating that while he agrees that Virgin Islands are hardworking and have built the territory, we cannot overlook that there are some gap and major cause for concern within the job market.
