Premier and Minister of Finance Honourable Dr. Natalio D. Wheatley was away from the Virgin Islands from July 5 to July 9 attending the 49th Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community in Montego Bay Jamaica. The meeting was held from July 6 to July 8 under the chairmanship of Prime Minister of Jamaica, Dr the Most Honourable Andrew Holness. In a recent press conference Wheatley reflected on the outcomes of the high level meetings.
Wheatley joined other leaders to discuss improving regional security, enhancing food and nutrition security and combatting climate change. The meeting will be observed under the theme, “People, Partnerships, Property: Promoting a Secure and Sustainable Future”.
