Several operators of medium and micro small businesses recently received government grants aimed at supporting growth and development in the territory.
Deputy Director of the Department of Trade, Investment, Promotion, and Consumer Affairs, Dr Lincoln Bobb addressed grant recipients at a ceremony on Friday, assuring them that the government remains committed to supporting entrepreneurs at every step of their journey.

Among the beneficiaries was Sandi Boyce, owner of Speech Therapy Services of the VI, who shared her personal journey and expressed gratitude for the financial assistance, highlighting the positive impact it had on her business.

Junior Minister for Financial Services and Economic Development, Lorna Smith, also spoke at the event, calling on the private sector to step forward and provide additional support to small and medium-sized enterprises, emphasizing the importance of collaboration.

The grants form part of the BVI government’s ongoing efforts to promote entrepreneurship.
