Dwynel Davis is the winner of the Virgin Islands Adult Spell-Off which took place over the weekend at the Eileene L. Parsons Auditorium at H. Lavity Stoutt Community College.
Davis received the Spell-Off trophy, a gold medallion, a participation certificate, $1,500 in cash, a Cape Air round trip for two.
The other winners were Carolyn Stoutt-Igwe, who placed second, Kishma Penn third and Eusa Adams tied with Aaron Parillon for fourth place.
According to the organizers, the funds from the event will be donated to the Virgin Islands School of Technical Studies, VISTS.
The fifth annual Spell-Off is scheduled for Aug. 22, 2026.
