BVITB highlights Tourism Businesses open for the Shoulder Season

In what is considered the off season, the BVI Tourist Board and Film Commission has highlighted Tourism Businesses Open for the Shoulder Season.

It has also placed the spotlight on Key accommodations, restaurants and attractions welcoming visitors during shoulder season.

The Board says while the late summer and early fall is considered the “off season” in the Caribbean, the BVI provides an inviting escape during this time of year for travelers, defined by fewer crowds and lowerseasonal rates.

According to the Board, across the Territory, boutique resorts, beloved attractions and iconic restaurants remain open, offering travelers a welcoming and relaxed experience.

It said with warm waters and perfect trade winds year-round, the shoulder season in the BVI sets the stage for travelers to enjoy world-class sailing, which the destination is known for.

Visitors can discover the destination’s signature offerings, from scuba diving and exploring historic underwater wrecks to unwinding on pristine beaches, all while taking advantage of lower seasonal rates andthe laid-back atmosphere that makes this time of year particularly inviting.

Director of Tourism Clive Mc Coy said travelling to the BVI during their shoulder season between September and early November offers a variety of unique advantages.

Mc Coy states that guests can enjoy the same pristine beaches, world-class sailing and vibrant culture, just with more space, better value and a slower pace that allows visitors to truly connect with our islands.

The Director said this is the perfect season to discover the BVI at its most authentic.” Whether savouring a beachside meal, setting sail through the islands or unwinding at a villa, the BVI continues to deliver picturesque shoulder season getaways for travellers all year round.
