The Ministry of Communications & Works is advising the motoring public of current and upcoming road closures to facilitate major infrastructure works in the territory.
The road from Sea Cow’s Bay over the hill to Road Town will be closed for two weeks to accommodate works in George’s Hallow.
Motorists using the Paul Wattley Road are advised to turn and connect with the road behind the hospital.
Additionally, the Long Swamp Road, in the vicinity of the Police Station, will be closed from Monday, September 22 to Saturday, September 27 to facilitate the final phase of the Long Swamp Pump Station installation.
Residents of East End, Long Look, Greenland, and Fat Hogs Bay are reminded that applications are open for connection to the sewage system and can be accessed via email at eellsewerage@gov.vg or by calling 468-5817, 468-5799, or 468-5779.
The Ministry is urging motorists to exercise extreme caution and apologizes for any inconvenience caused.
