Second District Representative has cautioned the people of the Virgin Islands about going back under control of the United Kingdom.
During his debate of the Constitution Review Commission Review Report in the House of Assembly last week, Turnbull spoke about the Transfer of Reserved Powers for the Governor.
The Representative said the people of the Virgin Islands must come to the understanding that their people can handle the affairs of the territory.
Turnbull stated that they must move forward as a people and not go back under any powers of the Governor and the UK.
Turnbull referenced in the United Nations Chapter where it said the territory should be, and he cannot believe they are still here in 2025 with this argument.
