The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force has charged a man following a firearm incident that occurred on Virgin Gorda shortly after midnight on Sunday, May 17.
Police identified the accused as 51-year-old Khemoe Foy of Georges North Side.
Foy has been formally charged with Possession of a Firearm with Intent to Commit an Indictable Offence and Unlawful Possession of Explosives.
According to the RVIPF, he was granted bail in the amount of $100,000 and is scheduled to return before the Magistrate’s Court on July 2, 2026.
The charges stem from a shooting incident in which police said multiple shots were discharged at a residential property on Virgin Gorda.
Preliminary investigations indicated that although gunfire struck the location, no injuries were reported.
The RVIPF says enquiries into the matter remain ongoing.
