The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force has confirmed that, as part of ongoing enquiries into recent criminal activity, two individuals were arrested on Friday and remain in police custody for questioning.
Videos circulating on Friday morning showed a heavy police presence in the Belle Vue area, with reports suggesting the operation was connected to Monday’s fatal shooting of K’Moi Walters.
However, police declined to confirm whether the two individuals in custody are linked to Walters’ killing. Walters sustained a gunshot wound during the incident and was transported to the Dr. D. Orlando Smith Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
His death marked the British Virgin Islands’ first homicide of 2026.
