MOTORISTS ADVISED OF SINGLE-LANE TRAFFIC AS WEST END PAVING CONTINUES

Road resurfacing is underway in the Bluff area of West End, with approximately 4,000 feet of roadway targeted for improvements.

The Ministry of Communications and Works said, in a statement to the press on August 13, the works form part of the ongoing Nine Miles Road Paving Project aimed at improving road infrastructure across the territory.

During the resurfacing works, traffic through the area will be reduced to a single lane.

Motorists are being advised to drive carefully when approaching and travelling through the work zone and to obey all traffic management measures in place.

The Ministry apologized for any inconvenience caused and asked for the public’s cooperation as the critical infrastructural works continue.
