BVI-USVI DAILY FERRY ROUND-TRIPS INCREASED DUE TO HIGH BOOKINGS SAYS PORTS AUTHORITY

Beginning November 1st, 2021 the International Passenger Ferry Schedule will include more service runs between the British Virgin Islands and US Virgin Islands.

An official advisory sent out by the BVIPA revealed that the adjustment is as a result of increased bookings recorded in the territory.

“Per request from our International Ferry Operators the international ferry passenger schedule between the British Virgin Islands and the US Virgin Islands has been adjusted for the period 1 November 2021 until 31 January 2022 due to increased bookings.”

“There will be an additional daily international round-trip service, thus increasing it to three daily round-trip services for this period,” they added.

To allow for social distancing, local authorities had instituted a 65-person cap on each vessel. That maximum capacity will remain the same and customers are expected to book their ticket with the scheduled ferry operator through their respective booking portal.
