OPP. LEADER SAYS NDP REBUILDING EFFORTS FAILED AMID INTERNAL CONFLICT

Leader of the Opposition and head of the newly formed political group The Alliance, Myron Walwyn, is shedding light on the internal struggles that led to his departure from the National Democratic Party , saying the party was in disarray and efforts to rebuild it fell flat.

Speaking as a guest on CUT Deep with Cindy Rosan, Walwyn didn’t hold back in his assessment of the NDP’s recent past. He revealed that during his time with the party which he ran under in the last general election the organisation was fractured and lacked direction

Walwyn suggested that his withdrawal was an effort to avoid deepening internal conflict. He noted that there were attempts to restore the party’s strength, but claimed those efforts were largely superficial.

He further alleged that his own ideas for restructuring and strengthening the NDP were dismissed, despite his commitment to building a more stable foundation.
