Former Governor of the United States Virgin Islands Charles W. Turnbull has died this morning Sunday July 3rd, 2022 at the age of 87. At the time of his passing Charles was on the U.S. mainland.
Turnbull was elected governor in 1998 under the Democratic Party and served as governor for 8 years.
Prior to being elected governor, Turnbull had a full career in education across the Virgin Islands.
