CAUSE OF TCI PLANE CRASH REVEALED

New information has confirmed that the plane crash which left 4 people stranded at sea in the waters of the Turks and Caicos Islands this week was caused by a mechanical issue with the plane.

This was confirmed by Turks and Caicos Governor Nigel Dakin in an instagram post on the GovernorTCI profile.

In the post he said that it was revealed to him by the plane’s pilot shortly after the rescue that the issue was caused by the failure of the fuel pump to reserve fuel.

The plane’s passengers have been identified as 3 nationals of St Kitts and Nevis and one national of Costa Rica.

They have all reportedly been discharged from a medical facility in Grand Turk after being medically examined.
