GOVERNOR BRYAN PRECLUDED FROM ATTENDING SWEARING IN OF USVI LEGISTURE

Governor Albert Bryan was unable to attend the swearing-in ceremony of the 35th legislature of the United States Virgin Islands this past Monday, after testing positive for COVID 19.

This was revealed by Government House that same day.

Though he was physically absent, Governor Bryan ensured that his presence was felt by sending a letter to the newly sworn in senators congratulating them and expressing his desire to work collaboratively with them all to build “stronger families, more robust infrastructure, and a stronger U.S. Virgin Islands.”

“While the challenges that lie ahead are significant, I am confident in this body’s ability and that of our administration to make a positive impact while confronting these challenges”, he added.

Despite the positive COVID 19 result, Bryan is said to have mild symptoms and to be in good spirits.
