Sunrise Airways has named Gary Stone as its new Chief Executive Officer, bringing over 30 years of global aviation experience to the role. Stone previously served as Vice President and Regional GM for Latin America and the Caribbean at Sabre Corporation, where he oversaw revenues of over US$110 million.
This appointment marks a broader leadership transition at the airline. Founder Philippe Bayard will become Chairman, continuing to provide strategic oversight with a focus on regional partnerships and sustainable Caribbean growth.
Stone, a Connecticut native raised in Puerto Rico, began his career at American Airlines and has held leadership roles at Radixx International and other regional aviation companies.
Sunrise Airways operates under three Air Operator Certificates in Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and the Eastern Caribbean.
