11 YOUTH REPRESENT BVI AT LESSER ANTILLES BASEBALL EXTRAVAGANZA IN USVI

Eleven rising young baseball players from the British Virgin Islands are headed to the U.S. Virgin Islands this weekend to participate in the Lesser Antilles Baseball Extravaganza in St. Thomas.

The Virgin Islands Softball-Baseball Association shared the news in a recent post, as it extended well wishes to the team.

The talented athletes are accompanied by coaches Josh Ridgeway and Darier Malone of the Diamonds Sporting Academy.

The Extravaganza will be held at Lionel Roberts Stadium.

Coach Malone expressed excitement about the event, saying “Great opportunities ahead for these young men; we’ll do our best!”

The British Virgin Islands contingent features some of the territory’s promising baseball talent, including Jesus Shulterbrandt, Julian Maduro, Kiran Hinds, Jomori Sebastian, Keshawn Potter, Zhuliundy DeLeon, Antwaun Stevens, Kh’mahni Anthony, Devonte Stevens, Colton Ridgway and Jaydon Hinds. 

The Extravaganza commences today, February 24th, with a free baseball clinic conducted by seasoned baseball coaches Ben Bizier and Andrew Davino, athlete Kyle Vesnesky, and renowned teams the New York Yankees and the Arizona Diamondbacks.
