The British Virgin Islands Under-20 National Team secured a 2–1 victory over Saint Lucia in Round One Group C of the CONCACAF Under-20 Championship Qualifiers.
Both goals for the Virgin Islands were scored by Jaadon Quashie, leading the team to the win as they concluded this round of the competition.
Despite the victory, the British Virgin Islands finished third in Group C following the completion of the qualifying round.
The squad features a blend of locally based players and overseas talent, with many members currently studying or competing in academy programmes abroad. Officials say the international exposure gained by these players has brought valuable experience and development to the national team setup.
