In response to severe weather conditions and an ongoing Flash Flood Warning, the BVI Health Services Authority (BVIHSA) has issued an advisory, warning the public of potential delays or cancellations in clinic services and outpatient appointments at its healthcare facilities.
The notice, issued early this morning, urges patients with scheduled appointments to monitor updates closely, as services may be rescheduled if conditions improve later in the day.
The advisory emphasized that patient safety is the top priority.
“We are closely monitoring updates from the relevant authorities and will make adjustments accordingly,” the BVIHSA stated, advising the community to remain alert and prepared for possible changes. The BVIHSA also encouraged patients to remain patient and understanding as they navigate the impact of the adverse weather.
The BVI Health Services Authority will release further updates as the situation develops and as information becomes available from local weather authorities.
