19 ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS FOUND AT COX HEATH

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force received an anonymous call shortly after 6 a.m. on Friday, April 19, reporting the sighting of suspicious individuals disembarking from a boat on the seaside at Cox Heath.

Promptly responding to the call, officers discovered nineteen individuals of multiple nationalities, suspected to be illegal immigrants, comprising of adults and children, concealed within the bushes at Cox Heath. Subsequent search efforts also uncovered two more individuals.

The RVIPF seeks assistance in identifying and apprehending these persons; if you notice anyone unfamiliar, please contact the RVIPF Intelligence Unit at 368-9339 or the Immigration Department.

The apprehended immigrants were handed over to the Immigration Department. Investigation into this matter is ongoing.
