GRANDEUR OF THE SEAS RETURNS TO THE BVI FOR A SIX-DAY WARM LAY-UP

The British Virgin Islands welcomed back cruise ship Grandeur of the Seas today Saturday July 17, which is scheduled to be in the territory for some six days for a warm lay-up.

This information surrounding the vessel’s visit to the territory was revealed in a media bulletin by the BVI Ports Authority (BVIPA), which confirmed that the ship is calling to the Cruise Pier from July 17 to 22.

“The ship will depart and return for layup on 25th July – 19th August and 22nd August – 31st August. Crew shore leave is not permitted with exception for crew airport exchanges only,” the BVIPA stated.

The BVIPA also reminded the public that the Cruise Pier area is a secured zone and persons are not permitted past the security gate.
