The Water and Sewage Department is informing residents across various communities on Tortola of water service disruption which will last in some areas until 7pm this evening.
The department issued the notice in the afternoon of Wednesday August 25, informing residents of all the areas that will be affected due to a number of repairs that must be conducted to the mainline.
The communities of Purcell Estate, Free Bottom and surrounding areas were notified of the temporary interruption, which may last until 6pm this evening.
Meanwhile residents along the Ridge Road, Sabbath Hill to Diamond Estate including Upper McNamara, Harrigan Estate, Brewers Bay and Mount Healthy were also notified that public water service will be temporarily interrupted today from 12:00 noon to 7:00 p.m. to facilitate repair to leaks along the Ridge Road.
The Water and Sewage Department apologised for any inconvenience caused to affected residents during these hours.
