TWO AND A HALF YEARS LATER ESHS AND BFEC RECEIVE FURNITURE

In a recent Facebook post Leader of Government Business Hon. Andrew A Fahie announced that the long awaited furniture funded by the Caribbean Development Bank has arrived to furnish two of the BVI’s largest public high schools, the Elmore Stoutt High School on Tortola and the Bregado Flax Educational Center on Virgin Gorda.

Both schools have been without proper furniture for some two and a half years.

Fahie wrote, “PROGRESS – We continue our commitment to educating our children and supporting our teachers in a safe and comfortable environment. We are elated to report that the furniture for the Elmore Stoutt High School and the Bregado Flax Educational Centre have arrived and are available for the commencement of the new school term. Your Government has maintained its commitment and are steadily making progress on what’s most important to you the people. We will continue to keep you informed as we work diligently to alleviate a number of concerns in due course. We will create an educational environment that we all can be proud of. GOD is good.”

Students return to school on Monday September 6th, 2021.
