REASON FOR THE SEASON: RESIDENTS RECEIVE FOOD ITEMS FROM HONOURABLE MARLON A. PENN

Leader of the Opposition and Representative for the Eighth District Honourable Marlon A. Penn, over the Christmas holidays, donated holiday ham and turkey, cases of water and food boxes to families in both the 7th and 8th Districts.

“Traditionally during the holiday season families come together at the table to celebrate, socialize and reconnect. Additionally, as part of the Boxing Day holiday observation, Honourable Penn partnered with Ice Treats to deliver smiles to children in the 7 th and 8th Districts by providing free ice cream treats.

“My District Committee and I will continue to do our part and implement initiatives to support our residents and aid in the progress of our communities,” the district Eight Representative concluded.

Honourable Penn is reminding persons in the community of the recently launched District Community Newsletter aimed at bringing awareness to some of the root problems, analysing issues, identifying solutions, providing information on community events, as well as to feature content that fulfills the purpose of the Community Newsletter.

The Newsletter will be available at the District Office, located next to the Harbour View Restaurant in East End, as well as at various restaurants, bakeries and supermarkets in the district.
