Reports reaching our newsroom this evening from close family have confirmed that prominent businessman Desmond ‘DA’ Alphonso died today in his home country of Guyana.
Mr. Desmond ‘DA’ Alphonso along with his family held prominent businesses in both the British Virgin Islands and Guyana.
In a Facebook post his older brother Franky Alphonso paid tribute to his late brother by saying, “I will miss you small brother, you gone too soon, thing will never be the same without you, rest in peace DA.”
At the time of his passing Mr. Alphonso was hospitalized.
